GDP continues to increase with a steady growth rate above 2%, indicating that the economy is boosting the e-commerce sector, both domestically as well as cross-border.

 

E-commerce Landscape

Unlike many developed e-commerce markets, most Swedish consumers prefer to collect their purchases at pickup locations. They also enjoy receiving their package at home in the evening. With regards to payment methods, it’s forecast that e-invoice payments will increase while payment by cards will decrease.
