Carrier and Quality Assistant Manager

We are looking for a Carrier and Quality Assistant Manager for Asendia Singapore, to be based in Singapore. In this position, you are reporting to the Head of Supply Chain for Asendia Singapore. In this function, you are to understand the supply chain business that Asendia Singapore offers ranging from the activities and solutions we have including fulfilment, postal logistic and premium logistic channels. You will be tasked and involved in the operational onboarding of new carriers (air and last mile) as well as their day-to-day management. You will also play a major role in the building the quality and rolling the reporting and quality approach for Asendia in the Singapore Local Office.

Your Tasks

 

• To work closely with different stakeholders (IT/ project and sales) on the onboarding of new carriers (air and last mile)
• To manage the day-to-day activities with our different transportation partners (Group, airlines, freight forwarders and last mile)
• To proactively monitor the end-to-end quality of service as well as every part of the supply to identify the areas for improvements and roll out corrective actions with stakeholders
• To work closely with sales team to optimize the transportation and build new solutions to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations
• To work closely with supply chain teams in the region and globally for new and current developments and projects and produce insight on the processes and Service Level Agreements which could prove benefit for the future business success.

 

 

 

Your Profile

 

• Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management preferably or relevant disciplines; or with equivalent relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge in Supply Chain and with at least 3 years’ experience in logistics and project management for E-Commerce Business
• Experience in working with airfreight and last mile delivery carriers.
• Excellent verbal & written communication in English. Every additional language is welcomed.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
• Experience in international project work.
• Strong independent worker.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft office and/or any project management tool.
